We are seeking a practical and motivated sales person to join our expanding company VM Kompensator in Denmark. VM Kompensator is located in Jylland and manufactures and installs fabric expansion joints on selected markets globally.
In this role, you will be driving sales of products and services to existing customers, strengthening our customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across primarily southern Sweden.
The customer base is typically aftermarket product and service within the Power & Heating, Paper Mills, Food, Refineries industry.
As part of an international company, you will collaborate and be supported by both the teams in Denmark and in Sweden to ensure sustainable business growth. This position is based in southern Sweden and reports directly to Country Manager VM Kompensator.
Key Responsibilities for the Area Sales Manager Role in Sweden
- Develop existing and new customers in the Swedish market for VM Kompensator’s products and services.
- Do on-site inspections, measurements and minor service tasks in order to be able to identify the correct product and service solutions.
- Generate quotes (together with the Danish sales team).
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and regular progress reports to management.
- Represent the company professionally at trade shows, events, and customer meetings..
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing client needs in a timely and effective manner
Essential Skills and Experience for Sales Success in Sweden
We think that you have experience from industrial sales & service as well as experience from maintenance departments at a industrial site. You have knowledge about the applications and processes related to expansion joints and sealing solutions.
Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, other Nordic languages are seen as a plus. The position requires travelling within Sweden on a regular basis but also to Denmark. It could also require travelling to other countries on occasion.
